Since 1998 the "Giro " has helped thousands of independent cyclists plan their trip around Tasmania. At the time, it was just about the only resource for cyclists could use without costing money. Now travel books and Bicycle tour companies have taken over the role of the Giro.
So all I can say is: turn off your computer, load your bike and lock your front door. It will be the best thing you will ever do.
